I think it's a safe. I ran mine up to 2.255 for extreme OC'ing but for 24/7 use I ran it at 2.155. the best way is find your max fsb OC then drop your voltage till you become unstable try to run the least amount of voltage as possible

I've had mine running at 2.3v for a couple days, but 2v steady. Have you lapped your northbridge at all? If you haven't, do it. It is so uneven, the corners barely touch the heatsink.
