Okay guys, I am in sort of a pickle. I just built myself a great HTPC for my bedroom, and want to know the BEST way to hook it up to my TV.

Now my HTPC in the living room was easy, My video card had an HDMI port, and so did my TV, but the bedroom was a different story...

My HTPC has:
S-video OUT
VGA OUT
DVI Out
on my Radeon 9200 pro AGP

My TV has
S-video IN
Component IN
Composite IN
NTSC / 720P / 1080I

Would a straight S-video cable support my TV's 1080I?? Or do I need to buy a DVI to COMPONENT cable to get the best signal to the TV, or do you guys recommend something else? Please don't respond with "buy a new tv"

The only way to get "readable" results would be component. If your after it for just for video then you could get away with S-Video, but you will be limited to 1024x768.

Damn, thats what I thought. I guess I need to find an AGP video card with composite out, or get a DVI to composite adaptor.
