It's been about 3 years since I've considered Intel and would like to know the current best overclocking setup choices to combine with an Intel 2.4C. I've heard positive reports with Asus P4C800-E DELUXE, Abit IC7 or the IC7-Max and would appreciate some feedback on pros and cons. Also what would be the best ram for the setup?

Thanks!

im an abit guy personally. if youre looking for a budget setup that still performs really well, i would recommend an abit is7 and pc3000 hyperx with mad volts pumped through it. if youve got a little more money, i would go for the ic7-g and ocz pc3700 gold or mushkin level 2 ram.

If u r budget consious, IMO, u can give the P4P800 a try, it's quite a performer, the the quirk is vcore fluctuation on full load. Something like the Abit's NF7-S

so you thought it was going to be an asus/abit thread ;)
I vote for epox !
4pca3+ and some mushkin 3500 lvl 2
or some kingston hyperX 3500 (make sure its rated 2-2-2-6-1t then its definatly BH-5)

My vote goes to P4C800-E. As for the ram Corsair pc4000, OCZ pc3700 or pc4000.

If I could do it over again I would have gotten a P4C-800einstead of these Maxs'. I havent seen much about that Epox, but it definately looks promising. Ive had really good experiences with Epox in the past, so Id check that board out more before droppin the cash. As for ram, Mushkin Black lvl 2 all the way.

4PCA3+ gets my vote as well, cheap and good. My second choice would be ASUS P4C800-E non-Deluxe, but it's kinda expensive.
