hi all, long time waited to test my little E8400 and my new E8500 on LN2, and yesss ive got my dewar (thank you diezel;)) on friday so we had chance to play...
but sadly it doesnt helped as much as i waited, sure about mobo limit, 1 core disabled helped me 5-7fsb and more cold and voltage doesnt made any sence compared to my Dice run's (5.77G)...

You have a very nice LP and CPU, the E8400 clocks are beautiful.....Beat me by less than 1Mhz (http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=377548). I have 0.3Mhz extra here (http://forum.crazypc.ro/attachment.php?attachmentid=31268&d=1213843538), but valid was corrupt :D

hehe, nice work guys :D this 0.00001 MHz wars for the E8400 WR is funny but Biostar P45 & E8400 E0 ES beat us so hard :( good P45 mobo is really needed to continue...
good job
thank you mate
BTW,
Asus P5Q Deluxe benches yesterday was without any serious results, it seems this mobo has serious ram limits at 620mhz (cant get higher even cas5 and high vdimm) so the mobo's fsb limit is at the same speed ~9,5x620 - max valid at 5890mhz  so new bios really needed for Asus P45 mobos...

wonderful...
it seems my E8500 chip and the P5Q Deluxe is dead :( it doesnt post on my DFI, and the P5Q doesnt post with other cpu... to tell you the truth this mobo was a technical sample but i never thought that it could happen after a simple LN2 testing, i was only tested max fsb and max clocks ~1 hour ago and dont feed high voltages for the chipset or vtt or vcore... and the chip looks like a brand new one, nothing burn signs, or smell, ect... RMA

Too bad with your chip my friend :(
Im looking very much forward to the morning...!! I will leave the hotel at 9:20, I think that will be about right for arrival at the center @ Nyugati...
Oh, and LOVELY city... This night I managed to forget some clothes at the place I ate "nightfood", and they kept it for me :)
I'll just put the CPU & ram with the clothes so I remember them ;)
EDIT:
Oh, I cant wait for the results :D
Nor see what the ram will do as max, maybe we can break the DDR3-2500 while we're at it? ;)

Great fsb on the DFI  I never could manage that high fsb with my DFI P35 boards. I believe my problem was CPU related.

Thank you guys
ive tested today with a few liters of LN2 my "new" Q745A554 E8500...
its quite good chip, but cannot hit the same max/stable clocks like the dead one
5915.45MHz @ 1.95v (http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=382251)
and some pifast result @ 5.7G against coldbug @ -115C :)
