I am not going full speed for some reason, like in 3D Mark I am only doing 9333 Points in 3D Mark 2k1.

I have noticed this in Games too.

My system below would get between 13K and 14K, I updated the MB to a SINXP1394 and have my memory at a faster speed than before, in all intents and purposes I should be getting into the 14K's or so in 3D Mark.

Off note: while doing the benching to see what's up, I could easily see the "optimziations" done by NVidia's wanderful driver dept.

So far I have checked my BIOS, double checked my BIOS, checked my settings and checked them again. I just finished checking them, set everything at Default.

I just can't seem to see how I am getting such bad scores and performance overall.

In SySoft Sandra 2003 my Memory does 3200MBps, and CPU does normal, alongw ith my HDD doing normal. Yet when it comes to Games and stuff I am not doing normal, only a little more than half the normal.

Here is my first benchmark that showed me that my system is not doing well. I don't care for the highest score possible, I just don't want my system running below spec.

EDIT: BTW I just did a reformat a couple days ago, just did some benches today becuase games were not running well.

Well I got a hunch and tried reinstalling my AGP drivers... and now I have ALMOST fixed the issue.

This is my latest score:

HOWEVER... check out this score, note the DX version, and older drivers, and older MB and chipset....

My older score based on slower items is MORE than 1000 points higher, on top of that, the higher score was with my normal gaming settings, my newest score is the same, but I have my drivers at Best Performance instead of Quality. I will post my Normal one in a moment when I check out other settings.

Got 13113 with all the purty settings on, except AA and AF... but I feel I am still 1000 points shy of what I should be at.

it sounds to me like you forgot to install the chipset drivers, or installed the drivers in the wrong order.

Probably, something I will fix in my next monthly reformat :P

I am working on building a new Windows CD with all the updates already on it... so far I can only seem to figure out the SP4 update, but not including the DX and other updates.

I think Ia m done, I am fine with 13K, it beats 9K by a long shot, which is fine I suppose.
