i ended up finding the info myself
both cards have 2.8ns ram
retail card has K4D26323RA-GC2A ram 2.8ns@2.8v
oem card has K4D263238E-GC2A ram 2.8ns@2.5v
so the oem card should clock higher since the ram on it is speced at 350mhz@2.5v or 400mhz@2.8v so if i set thee voltage up to say 2.8 or 2.9 i should see 400mhz+
also the core on the oem card clocks much higher at stock v than the retail one does retail does 455 oem does 480 mcw50-t on both.
now heres my problem as of now. I suffer from tremmors (slight muscle disorder) my hands shake. no big deal but soldering is out of the question for me. my neighbor can solder very well but isnt into vmods or modding at all so if there is a guide to mod my card "idolts guide" if you will. could you please link me to it?
thanks in advance

just go to radio shack and get some smd grabbers. They are tiny clips that you can clip to the legs of the chip for the vmod. Why didnt you just overclock both cards to see which one got higher. Just because they are rated for a certain speed doesnt always mean they will run it.

ok i will hit rayshack this week and pick some grabbers up ...i did oc both cards and the retail cards ram oc's better all stock but the oem core oc's better then the retail so i figured i would vmod the card with the most potenital.

well i just noticed that the oems ram uses much less volts so thats also a plus with the oem card. Good luck with the vmods
