.......Question for you Intel guys, I just had the format a system that is using the IC7 and a Seagate sata H/D because of corruption. I believe it is running the original bios. Did you guys need a bios update to protect against corruption like the nforce chipset needs? Which is the best Sil drivers to run on this mobo?........

Having the IC7-G and a Seagate 80Gb SATA drive (model 7200.7), I'm using the latest bios (17) and latest Sil 3112 drivers.
No problems so far.

.........F.Y.I.-I also asked this in the abit forums and was told be the moderator that he is starting to see alot of people having corruption issues but only w/the seagate.................
