Anyone know anything about this biocide? I got it from Petsmart. I've searched the forums and can't find anything about this active ingredient. It would be very helpful if someone had views on its performance and crystalization. If you use a biocide that works great in your system, please check what the active ingredients are and let the rest of the community know. :)

The most commonly used product contains copper sulfate. However, you could try that biocide in a small environment like a tube with some water and let it stay there for a week.

1-2 drops (follow label directions) of Aquarium Algaecide works great.

I would take that stuff back (if possible) and get this instead. (http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754906) I've used it for a while now and have had no problems at all.

I'm testing this stuff because next friday I'm adding the 3rd GPU block to the loop. This stuff or the D-Tek F/X is leaving a white residue on the tubing and the pump. I'll take some photographs when I clean it up. I'll get that copper sulfate stuff.
