Nice work Fugger. Macci got 5Ghz with ln2 as well recently.

I love being nosy and looking the icons on peoples desktops, C & C made me laugh like Creative :)

Mine has all links to free porn sites, plus 3dmark :D *

Kingston HyperX 3500 @ 2-5-2-2 5:4

I am building better condensation proofing, and I need a steel X bracket on the back of the CPU. My board is so warped from not using a bracket behind the CPU but it lives and I am on it now.

I dont have Zero Hour yet but I do plan on getting it.

I was taking the R9800 up and running flawless 3D 580/390 when the compressor on the CPU failed and shut down. I thought the video card was history but it fires up fine today.

Light green core Radeon are better than the darker cores.

What are the specs on the phase-change setup used on the CPU? (i.e. what compressor, refrigerant, evap, etc.)

Can't wait to see what you do to it on helium - good work Fugger - nice to see you getting some very solid results after a little frustration (I can definitely understand that, lol) :toast:

nice OC btw... is that the highest clocked proccy to ever be tested under 3dmark2k1 now?

1.7v with subzero temps are no worries I would say. Been running that for ages (ages for processors)

Nice volts, asus mobo I presume?

I am setting up a 8KNXP Ultra, it over volts but doent like the ES.

15x ~ 21x selectable
NB strap stuck on 100
option 2.5 gets you 4:5 memory ratio
My memory voltage starts at something like .8525 and goes up to 1.6000 in small steps

Nice overclock, mach2 serving you well.

I got this thing all bolted up

Dead in a week tops
Lets get a pool going and some odds:D

AFIAK its acceptable to do up to 2v in banzai runs using extreme cooling, as you can see by the exploits of most of the Japanese/LN2 overclockers. I doubt that they run these chips for more than a few hours on those high Vcores.

charlie

No biggie,
I run mine at 1.9v all the time under subzero cooling. Not for more than 30 minutes at a time, though.

Ok DJ, Ill bet you 100 bucks that Opps CPU will last to beyond 9/30/2003. Thats 2 weeks

You still willing to put money on it?

Kunaak
09-16-2003, 06:29 PM
FUGGER

with all them dead prometeias and R9800's, I don't think it would be the CPU voltage that kills Opp's hardware.

;)

Kunaak
09-16-2003, 07:15 PM
heres what I think Opp does with all them CPU's and prometeias and videocards ;)

Is it really that bad?
I used to do 1.9v prime 95 overnight burn ins on my 2.4C and its still kicking. Has anyone killed a "C" chip from this?
