Do swiftech rads have holes for fans on both sides of the rad? I am thinking of buying a Mountain Mod UFO case and a coule of 3 fan swiftech rads and mounting them across the front. I noticed that in the gallery someone with the the UFO case set his/her fans up to push/pull the air through their rads.
I also found a decent fan from Coolmaster that moves 90 CFM air and has a noise level of 19dBA. Has anyone seen fans like this but with a lower noise raito?
Thanks

90@19 is a bit too good....
have a look at vapors fans sticky
Firstly, at least 90% of all advertised fan noise/airflow ratios tend be :banana::banana::banana:, CM's fans included. You'll get all kinds of recommendations around here, but the Yate Loons sold by Petras and the Scythe S-Flex series are favourites for their real-world noise/performance ratios. At higher rpms, Panaflos and San Ace's (assuming you can find them) do well. There are others as well, but its hard to be definitive without testing them all yourself.
Secondly, yes Swiftech's rads have holes on both sides. They only come with screws for one side, so you'll have to visit your local hardware store and throw a buck or two down for some extras. Just make sure you measure the exact distances needed for your particular setup, since a screw that's too long will puncture the rad core.
Thirdly, have a care when you're getting the case, since by default, MM cases have been spaced for larger Thermochill rads. They've recently started to offer them with smaller spacing to fit Swiftech/HWL rads, but I'd be surprised if these were sold anywhere except through MM directly.

I was thinking of putting 3 of these on the front of the RADs, and 3 on the back and I have to find out if they make a non-LED version as the pictures they supply with this product are a little decieving as the BLUE LED picture doesn't have the fan spinning and the LEDs aren't shown on the picture beside of the other fan.

With respect to the holes on the MM cases the one I plan to buy has the option to have the holes aligned for Swiftech providing I purchase it directly from MM. I noticed that on NCIX's website they don't give you that same option so maybe it’s more wise to purchase the case directly from MM than it is from a 3rd party source like NCIX, who knows maybe NCIX has been only getting the Thermochill cases from MM? Plus MM sells the same case for $10 more than NCIX!
I also thinking of getting the white case with silver aluminum covers, I also may purchase the Swiftech RADs from them as well; hopefully they put two and two together and don't screw up the order! :)

The option to spec out HWL/Swiftech fan hole spacing is somewhat recent, whereas MM has a long history of cutting their front panels to fit TC rads. So unless stated otherwise, assume TC spacing. Point in case, I have a Horizon case that originated from NCIX not too long ago, and it's TC-spaced, and they don't have an option to get it otherwise.

i myself have some Coolermaster blue led fans. Rated at around 120+cfm at full speed (about 2.5k). At silent mode i really cant hear them at all at night (they are rated for 16.5db at silent mode)...
HOWEVER, i tested them on my PA120.3 and even at full speed barely any air passes through the rad.. Their pressure is very low if you ask me:down:

Which coolermaster fans did you try that are 120+ CFM? I looked on their site and they don't carry such a fan... Was it a coolermaster knock off maybe?

I believe he's talking about these ones:

I have those as well but I just use mine as case fans. On maximum they are rather noisy yet move quite a bit of air. On the lowest setting they are basically silent. I don't think they are knock offs though. They might of only had a short life however as they got pulled off Newegg pretty quickly, but I did find them on the Coolermaster website (http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?act=detail&tbcate=186&id=3136).

If you browse coolermaster.com's web site you will see they don't make the fans mentioned anymore, the only ones they make that have a high CFM is this one which is 90CFM @ 19dBA.
