My old designed for a dual-core loop really isn't cutting it with my quad (having my computer upstairs in 80F indoor heat doesn't help either). I've decided to start over and build another water cooling setup.
I'd like a case that can house at least one PA120.3 and one PA120.2, but preferably one that can hold two PA120.3s. It has to be a regular case, no cubes. I just don't like the way they look.
Right now I'm looking at the Lian Li PC-V2010 as I think maybe, just maybe two 120.3s could be jammed in there. The bottom chamber of the case would be stripped, my hard drives mounted in a 5-drive hot swap enclosure. That would definitely provide room for a single PA120.3. I'm thinking that maybe the other one could me mounted at the top of the case, hanging from the 'ceiling'. The only problem there is that it might hang down too far and block off an expansion slot or two. I'd like to know what you guys think. Right now the only site I could find with decent pictures of the case is Performance-PCs (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=204&products_id=23620).
The other option would be the venerable TJ-07. I've seen people mount a 120.3 and 120.2 in the bottom of the case, but I've never seen anyone get two 120.3s into it. I'm not sure if it'd be possible in the same way I'm considering for the 2010B.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Especially with the 2010 as it's very new and I've not seen any water cooling build outs with it, yet.

The 2010 is a standard ATX [I liked the reverse ATX style of the older models :(].
Here is a mammoth image to help you out.

[more at the Lian Li site]
My vote goes to this case.

I think with the 2010 I could definitely do the 120.3/120.2 combo in the bottom and still have room for a decent size PSU (I'm thinking about the Corsair 1000HX as it's not much bigger than my current Silverstone ST-60F).
I highly doubt there is room for 2 120.3s in either case as they're too thick to mount in the top of the case, at least as far as I could tell. I wish I could find someone with the case to make measurements.
I'd personally rather use the Li as I like the way it looks better, plus the bottom chamber is larger.

I would go with the PC-V2010. The reason for that is that it's much more room for adding for example a watercooling system. :D

2010 ftw.
I will be doing a setup with that case when i finally finish my current v2000

Obviously, the 2010 gives you more room, but I have always liked the cleaner look of the TJ07.
You can stick a 480 and a 240 in the bottom of a TJ07, but because of the PSU, you can never get more than a 240 in the one side with the PSU.
You could do 240 and 480 in the bottom and a 240 up top as well.

The bottom of the V2010 is so much shorter than the bottom of the V2000 though? :(
Go for the V2010. It has lots of room por 2 watercooling loops. The 240 mm radiator can be fitted to the top of the case with room to spare.

I think V2000's inside better than V2010.But V2010's outside desing is better.

Why not just get the Tagan Black Pearl? It's basically a V2000, except for a few changes. First it doesn't have ventilation holes in the front of the case, but it does have two predrilled holes on the top, it's cheaper in most cases, and well that's about it. Oh, don't forget Reverse ATX!:yepp::up:

the 2010 has the same psu plate as the tj07. what are the length of both cases? same as the v2000?
I would like to know if i could fit a 120.2 and gtx 480 in the bottom.

2010: 210mm x 620mm x 590mm ( W, H, D)

Looks like it can fit a 120.3 120.2 combo in the bottom section(length wise looking good width wise will be close).Could fit a gtx 480,longer than the tj07
tj07: 220 mm (W) x 560 mm (H) x 565 mm (D)

a gtx 480/ 240 combo fits@ the bottom, with 2 short psus you *should* be able to fit 2 pa 120.3s, but then you have to balance them carefully
these big lianlis are perfect wor WC builds, ATM i have to decide if i go for a GTX 480/240 or 360/360 combo in my G70 (too much room :D )

gtx 480 and 120.2 looks like it will work aswell.
2 120.3's maybe depending on psu.How long are 120.3's?
maybe 2 x 360 feser's if the 2 x 120.3's are no go,or feser 480 and 360.... heaps of options here.. :)

Ugh, I hate having to use this account.
The most obvious solution to the gtx quandry. Is to mod using the koolance quad radiator shroud. Place a quad gtx on top.
And the 120.3 &120.2--- Crazy TriLoop If necessary. Or two 480gtx and call it a day.
Or you can go for broke and get the feser 480 rad whenever it comes out.
I'm on the fence on going this route, or going with a cosmos s and just top mount a tri rad and frount mount a dual rad.
I only wish they would of made this case wider I fantasize about having my green power hard drives mounted on the radiators, I have 7 hard drives now, will probably get another pair.

I think I'm going to go with the 2010. The only advantage the TJ-07 has over it is that I'll have to cut ventilation holes for airflow in the bottom of the case. That's no big deal as I know a guy with all kinds of machine tools.
Now the choice is down to radiator selection. Thermochill PA120.2 is what I planned on using for the CPU loop, but I'd like to see a good comparison of it and the Feser.

Doesn't the Feser cost more than the TC? A TC 120.2 is more than enough for a CPU-only loop.

Yeah, the Feser stuff is pretty damn expensive. I'm doubting it's worth it over the Thermochill stuff because it can't be that much better. The designs are very similar. The only advantage to Feser is that they use G1/4 threads and I have a bunch of Festo compression type fittings that are G1/4, but only a few that are G3/8.

Hmm.Feser looks like a copy of the TC rad...I did not look real careful but I would stick with the best rad IMHO..TC line and a 120.3
I hate "rip-offs"...if Feser is truly new design tech that I will take that back

The TJ07 is pretty much modular, you can take the whole case apart, held together with screws.

The only problem with the V2010 is that it is not as deep as the V2000.
