I have a nf7s 1.2 baord with 2700+ bridge cut, Vdd mod chip at 2.0, ati9800ro,
corsiar 3500 xms two 256, watercooled cpu and video,
chipset cooled with an amd 2700 heatsink and fan, Mosfets cooled with heatsinks, two serial WD Raptor drives,
Enrmax 430 watt power supply, 3 80mm case fans plu three fans for the radiator. Bios version 21
Problem I am having is the fsb. I can seem to get it over 210. I have tried defrent memory timings. I have set the multi very low to keep the mhz low and it still would not go higher. I have tried deffrent memory and seem to be stuck at the same point 210 fsb tops. I ran with the multiplier at 15 with a 166 fsb and the memory around 420 and it runs. the highest cpu mhz seems to be 2500 for the cpu. I just can see whats going on!!
Acip is disabled
vcore I have tried from 1.80 to 2.0
memory voltage at 2.9
chipset up to 2.0
Not sure what to think cpu, memory, or chipset??
Any help is very much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:(

Have you tried BIOS 1.0?
Took me from a no boot at 210MHz+ to 240MHz benchable.
Rev 1.2 boards can be a little tricky when it comes to high FSB.
NB manufactured in Taiwan OC far better than NB's made in Korea.
My old rev 1.2 board even had problems to get to 200MHz and needed a Vdd mod to get there.
Off course i was one of the unfortunate ones with a Korea NB. :(
The are also good 1.2 boards around, Opp did 250 with his. :slobber:

do you have user innerface turned on?
and are you running 1:1 (sync) or async ???

i used to do 238mhzFSB DC with a xp2700 and abit NF7 v1.2 board. I just used the BIOS version that came with the factory.
Highly vdd modded, extra cooled NB, and a good'ol pair of CorsairXMS 3500 sticks.
Try different dimm slots i.e. #1 & #3 or #2 & #3. If no go, try using one stick of ram instead of two and try overclocking..

I have heard this but I am concerned about the sata problem what do you think?

I have done the vdd mod and have the chip at 2.0 volts.

cpu interface is on as you get much better [erformance that way.

I have done the vdd mod and have an 2700+ fan and heat sink on the NB with a Zalmon heat sink on the SB. Heat sinks on the mosfets. I am a cooling freak!
Also have two corsiar XMS 3500 256 memory mudauls.
I have tried diffrent slots and I will try one at a time and overclock.
If I can overclock lets say to 220 with both the memory one at a time what will this tell me? Chipset or cpu?
