i need a guide how to make a memmory volt mod on a 9800se connect3d card i have made a GPU volt mod now its time for mem mod :D

i have made the mod so that the card is now running at 1x8 pipelines and got 19600 in 3dmark 01 :P

but why cant i get eny further then 360mhz on the memmory ??
i have ram sinks on and great cooling ?

Hmm, dunno about the SE it's only 128bit bus. You could take a look at the Macci one and see if the pcb's are the same.

I wonder if a 9500Pro might be the correct pcb for you? So maybe look for one of those.

And I don't think I would classify that as great cooling either. There really dosn't exist a good factory made GPU cooler.....that I have seen at least.

no its not 128bit its 256 bit i can see it in RivaTuner

That version 9800SE is built on the 9700pro PCboard... so all the 9700pro vmds shold apply.

Hi, I have a 9800 SE, also softmoded to 9800 PRO. I'm about to do the Vgpu, can u post how u did it on your card? Also i need to know where do u measure the Gpu Voltage.

sorry to dig up an old thread but I think the 128bit is the same as the 9500pro for gpu and mem volt mods

as for the 256bit version. it is on the exact same layout as a 9700np/pro so volt mods should be identical.
