Interesting, great for people that need low profile heatsinks.

Looks like a modded version of their GPU heatsink.

i liked the SI-128 performance and seen the SI-128 SE perform better than that. So if this performs even better i'll be amazed. But the mounting for them were terrible. Push Pins ! How do you push anything blocked by huge fins and heatpipes without damaging it ? If its bolt thru i don't see how it will be easy to mount as well.

I am looking forward to this one.... 140mm

I am tired of the Heatsinks where you can't slide ones removable mobo out of the case because the HS is too tall (and I have a larger than normal case, TJ-07.) Beyond that, the downward air on mobo is good.

Still though, tougher for most to get fresh cool air to it.

I am wondering if and when Thermalright is going to go to exposed heatpipes... license on patent involved with exposed pipes?

i had great results with my XP90C so im sure this will be even better. not sure if id have it replace my Ultima-90 which is proving itself to me with more great results.

The most important question is how it compares to the TRUE.

wait up the Se performs better? is it worth going from the stock 128 to the se?

not unless they allow you trade in. it just adds holes on the files so a slower spinning fan cools it easier. A stronger fan would do better as well. Nothing else changed besides that.

Who cares?. This is low noise and low profile.

The SI128 SE doesn't use pushpins, that's why it's better. Still crappy mounting but at least no pushpins... god how I hate them.

I do. It doesn't really matter what it's intended for, I just like to have an idea of how it compares to the best on the market.

The SI128 doesn't perform to bad with my e6750 @ stock 2.6ghz 22c idle both cores and 36c load orthos (small ffts) ambient 17c

Need to overclock though.
