not bad

what batch is it ?

You might get some Q807 if not ... 4ghz@1.20v

at 500 fsb it would need less than 1.3v IMO ;)

It didn't seem to be anything great. Q746A536. I didn't expect the kind of bandwidth on 4 X 2048 either.

Decent chip, could use some water though, those temps and volts are pretty high.

Hey man, nice results!
did you want to set more voltage on the northbridge or something??
i want to buy this motherboard, and i wan't to put 450fsb in my dual core...
I will have to set more voltage??
thx!

very good clocking i would be happy with a 8400 that did that let alone a quad congrads

The Northbridge is set to 1.33v. I needed ~1.4v when running 2 X 1024 of Micron D9GMH's. The DRAM is set to 2.1v. When running with two sticks it will do fine with 2.0v.

I have two of these motherboards. One with the Q6600 and the other with the E3110. The temps are at 63C full load (85C Tjunction) and seem pretty good. It was at 450 X 9 with the same voltage.

It is the brother to the 8400 and not a quad. I've got a Q6600 (Sig) as well, and putting together a Rampage with QX9650 today.

I am running at 500x8 @ 1.336v vcore too, it with 4x1G D9GMH @ 2.0v. And mine is a E8400 Q807A191

How much voltage in northbridge?

Is the Q807 Good for the E8500?

my E8400 it's a Q813, wonder how that is?

Core2 Quad QX9650 @ 4.0GHz L740B299 (400 X 9) @ 1.42 (BIOS) 1.416v (Windows)

I gotta ask...is the cpu in your sig running at 4ghz, or 400x9? Because they are 400mhz apart from each other lol.

LOL - My error. My Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz was in my sig before and I didn't reflect all the changes. The QX9650 was 400 X 10. Couldn't get anymore than 425 on the FSB and that needed far too much voltage. A poor CPU for certain. I've just RMA'd the QX9650 because of two stuck sensors. Hopefully I get a better one as this one was not very good.

Put the Q6600 back in at 3.6Ghz. :D

Edit: Back with the new QX9650. Far better CPU. Testing with 10 X 400 at 1.36v.
