Do to the server issues from some time back the last thread has some images that are just a little fubared. So Here we go with a new thread.
Simple rules to follow.
1. Post no more than 4 images of your case. You may link as many pics as you want, just no more then 4 using the image tag.
If you need more, just link please. Lets try to keep the thread decently enough 56k friendly.
2. Post your case.
If your using image tags so they are hosted off site and we get dead links/red X's etc, post will be deleted to keep thread clean.
3. No comments.
If you need to comment, start a new thread please with case name/user name.
4. Post only your case.
Lets keep thread clean!

Thanks, Now lets see some works of ART!~!

and more recently it's changed from a Prommi Mk I to a Prommi Mk II... the only thing that changes in terms of looks is the bottom display, which now looks thusly:

Window design is getting redone.

Abit NF7-S Rev2.0
XP1700+ @ 2.8Ghz (pic above shows Barton 2500+ I'm testing at the mo)
512Mb EL-DDR OCZ Dual 3500
2x Seagate BarraV SATA 80Gb Drives
52x CD-RW
52x CD
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Promi Mk II
Coolermaster Musketeer
2x Chieftec Matrix Midi Tower Cases
MicroCool Northpole NB Heatsink

Watercooling is still under manufacture... 156w TEC to go on GPU and 80w TEC to go on NB... watercooled by ThermoChill Blocks and Rads (waiting for the blocks to become available) and am in middle of wiring all case fans to the Promi Controller to save on fanbus necessity (I hate the things... much prefer the Promi to do it automatically for me based on the 5 temp sensors I run on it)

Meteor Lights used in the top section behind the O-CuK.
Tricolor Cathode behind the main window...

modded 120mm top blowhole
modded side window with 120mm side intake (used 1/8 inch Lexan with carpet tape and rivets)
modded front 92mm intake using PVC intake tunnel
rewired and relocated the power and reset switches (using ITW Switches Series 57 Mini Vandal Resistant Switches)
rewired and relocated power and HD LEDs (power LED is the modded Lexan AMD symbol)
Sunbeam Rheobus
3 * 12 inch blue CCFL (rewired so all 3 work off of the same rocker switch)
1 * 6 inch UV CCFL
painted with textured car trunk paint and then a flat black over coat
stealthed CDRW (but not working properly.. too tight because of the rheobus)
PSU sleeving and cable-fu..

This is how mine looks now, I might have to change the board :bang: so I didn't put to much work into it.

There it is hard locked just trying to get it to run 220FSB (board does at least 236Mhz in past)

The shroud thingy is the best part out of an HP. I need to paint it and the fan. Either way it helps keep the video card ram cooler. Notice the SB cooling :D
http://s88708673.onlinehome.us/pics/my_comp_pics/newpics/IMAG0004.JPG

Floppy Drive pointing in :D SATA driver is in it bc its the only disk I ever use. I'm thinking about putting the floppy behind the motherboard tray.

7K RPM keeping the mosfet heatsinks cool, that hard drive hooked to that yellow (glow in the dark) round cable is temporary. The tornado fan in the back is pointing in to cool the top of the video card. Havn't put ram sinks on yet.

well heres my mess. i still need to get that reobus in the drive bay so i can stuff all of those wires behind the drive cages, but im to lazy and am too busy with other stuff. a lot of ricers have those under glow under their cars, so i thought i through a 12" cathode under my case. i also have one right above my keyboard so i can see the keyboard at night. that one light lights up my entire room! i like it :D

Death ++
11-14-2003, 03:44 PM
heres one from another angle to better show my l33t cooling system. i have some cheapo water block with a alu 80mm fan blowing on it, my nb, and (sorta) ram. that alone drops my cpu temp around 5-7c while the cheapo rad (it has the multi-colored led fan on it) doesnt do that much in a push-pull. i also took the cover off my psu and stuck a alu 120mm fan on it at low speed and it dropped the db level considerably since i can turn off the fans in the psu. someday im gonna cut a blow hole above the psu and stick the 120mm fan there to cool it off and clean it up.

enjoy

This the culmination of my efforts to modify my existing Koolance case after the original pumps ceised to function. The system now contains 2 separate loops, one for CPU (1/2" ID tubing, Laing D4 pump, 2x120 radiator) and one for GPU + Northbridge (3/8" ID tubing, Hydor L30 pump, 1x120 radiator). Everything concerning water cooling has been replaced from original Koolance components, just the case itself was kept as a tribute to the early days. Two of the most recent additions are the 4x20 parallel LCD and, most notably, a flow switch/meter connected to the digital panel meter that displays flow rate as a percentage of full flow (calibrated as 100%). The flow switch triggers an alarm (12V piezo buzzer) once flow drops below 40%.

Sweet router mod man! Does that gauge have a function or is it for looks only?
The gauge displays case temperature. It is a solid state temp sensor.
I agree.. I bet it took ages to make ?
Ya, a couple months worth of free time
where did you get the stuff to make it
The wall are made of lexan and bolted together with some aluminum L-bar. I got both at mcmaster.com. The mesh is from an arts and crafts store and the plates are from the metal cover of project boxes.
is that a motherboard i see built into the router??
Ya, it's got all the components of your average computer minus optical drives.

If your interested in reading more. I got a better explanation of everything on my website. link (http://www.scifikg.com/smoothwall/smoothwallgallery.php)

like it,well done :D how long did u do that ?

lalPOOO
12-17-2004, 08:57 AM
Hmmmm, the total hours spent on the window is probably like 6 or so. Not all at once though. I spent about 30 minutes getting the design I wanted drawn onto the side pannel and then I taped it all up and redrew it onto the tape using permanent marker (30 minutes there) Then I got my dad to help me out and teach me how to use a jigsaw at the same time because I'd never used one before. I've done windows with the dremel before, but this would have taken a year if I didn't use the jigsaw. So about 4.5 hours cutting out the rough outline, and then about 2 hours dremeling, filing and sanding down the edges. The rest of the time was inbetween steps (washing and stuff) and sanding down the paint and then spraypainting black. So it took me a fairly long time, but it was spaced out alot and I wanted it to look just right, so I put in whatever time that took :) .
I've attached the initial design, and 2 other ideas i had but didn't go with..

Thanks guys, Glad you like it, I know I do :)

I decided to redesign a case so it fit my odd desk top And Was just different from other cases. So i bought an Enermax CS-181-B. Just cuz it was large and very plain
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/1.jpg I stripped it down and set it on my bar and was just picturing where this road was going to lead.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/cyphering.jpg
I went to get another cup of coffee to help me think. When I turned my back on it, I heard it make some smart ass remark to me. Yeah it was flipping me crap. So I took it to my lab and I cut it, I mean I cut it good!!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/5.jpg
that shut it up!! I was disappointed when I saw that the mobo tray was one pice the whole lenth of the case!! But the saw fixed that. and my drill made it fully removable. When I cut out the top usb and firwire ports I thought I would put in a window but instead I built a new top and began putting the case back together!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/27.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/20.jpg
a new shape case was born
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/29.jpg
There needed to be more holes in this creation. So it was 120's for the top, bottom and side window
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/37.jpg
I wanted the rad to be mounted to the case but externally
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/69.jpg
but external water res out of PVC pipe and caps. cost less than $5
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/77.jpg
Time to reveal the SECRET of WeldZilla 2 STEALTH no messy, ugly wires hanging every where!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/87.jpg
then went nuts and repainted it.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/103.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/100.jpg
then fired it up
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/110.jpg
Then I painted the desk to match the case set it all up
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/desk_1.jpg
And we lived happily ever after!!!!

Well again thanks you know there was about 32 hours of actual work in the project . But, there was about 45 to 50 hours just spent thinking about the project, planning the little details. you see when I turned the front of the case sideways I also moved it forward to 2 inches to insure plenty of room for roms. That was easy at the top of the case since I just built a whole new one, But, at the bottom of the case I decided to fill in the 2in. x 8 1/2 in. void with metal i had from the pieces I already had cut out. (The window). Then I had to have some pieces to build the lip back up where the cover would go back on. Remember that right side cover is now the rear of the case. Well I had done a job customizing some metal legged bar stoolls for a guy and as luck would have it. the square pieces from it were the exact same size as the bent lip of the case. Here is a pic. You will see the pieces I used and also where I had to fill the back corner in. When I was done I used a flap disc in a 4 1/2 grinder where it was easy to get at.In the hard to reach areas I used a small flap disc on a die grinder ( air powered dremel) I came out great!! didn't have to use bondo to get it perfectly smooth. Her are a couple pics.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/16.jpg
Here it is all back together. Beofre it was fully danded out.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/47.jpg
Another thing that condumed time was the mount for the water tank. Easy, just time consuming. I had some pipe but it was all too big so I cut out an inch section of it, squeezed it back to gether in the vice. then I welded it. smoothed the weld out and used the vice and a small ball pin hammer to make the rings perfectly round again.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/71.jpg
There were many small things to do to add up to the finished product. I llike little details. the legs took time to make. again I had some old oil stove plumbing around that was just the right size. So I cut legs out of it and tapped them with 1/2 in stndard course threads. I cut the heads off some 1/2 in bolts and wellded them onto my leg brackets .Then I was able to just screw the legs on. it also made them adjustable. As I said the work was easy. the thinking was sometimes pretty intense.
I like putting my insignia in my cases

yet another stacker to add to the collection on this thread! somehow i managed to fill this one up tho, it's such a HUGE case!

theres a thermochill 120.3 cut into the bottom with 6 fans on it and a black ice pro on the back!

the bays used from top down are: res, DVD - RW, CD - RW (stealthed), floppy, HDD, then the pump under all that, soon to be added is a musketeer 2 and a second HDD!

this is my second watercooling project, and i'm happy with it, temps of around 28 can't be grumbled with (CPU is a xp m 2500+ at 2.5 at 1.93V)

(sorry for the rusbish pics, were taken with my phone)

Here's my addition to the gallery...

PC --

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=27625&stc=1

and my PC just before I got the 6800GT and red led molex Y-cables... the 6800 was so big I had to rob the drive cage from another pc, turn it upside down and put the drives for my second stripe-set (of the mirror'd disks) in that down below... on the bottom of the case. It worked out really nicely, but here's how it looked before... the card is a 9700Pro with ramsinks on it.

and the rest -- (sorry kind of dark)
