I love the way the case was built and there is plenty of room for what ever your trying to accomplish.

The WC kit was not to shabby either. While it is no high end by any means, it is certainly getting the job done on my E6600.

3600MHz daily running 24/7 both cores folding.(7 months straight now)

Load temps in
CoreTemp 49~51 degrees celsius w/ 1.47v

Definitely worth the money IMO:up:

Well built case, but it is way overpriced for such a limited case.
They could have added more bay area for expansion.
Y50,000 + extra for the optional case feet and PCI cooler.
I think I saw this case at user's side in akiba.
Where did you buy from? Through a deputy service?

It's really difficult to get it, Soldam is only interested to sell this within Japan..so when I could, I got a few extra pieces as well if anyone's interested.

So I take it you bought it while you were in Japan?

Actually pictures don't do them justice, I had a TJ-07 and when you compare the quality of the finishing interior and exterior, the Soldam is a notch above.

Yep, had to agree that it's a bit small in space though.

Iceflight and a few others were the guys behind our purchase from soldam.

Yes, iceflight and i are from singapore and i got my soldam thru him too.

We had a mass order over in VR zone forum when soldam was having a sale for their casing and stuffs. We got them to ship over for us without us stepping into japan. :)

Pictures dun do justice to soldam, their build is really top notch.

There's plenty of stock here:

Hard to buy? You need to have a japan contact before you can buy if you intend to ship. Yes, you can buy from japan, and the tax you going to pay there, is going to kill you. A few friends i know bring it in themselves, tax kill them deeply.

Rad could be put on the top, externally with the fans inside... alternatively removing the GFX coolers should free up enough space to mount a rad on top but internally.

lol. i dont see any room in there for water cooling. there is no way a 120.3 will fit in that case that i can think of. it miighhhtttt just fit where the HDDS are, going across the length of the case, but i doubt it with that huge PSU.

That is correct; there is absolutely no room inside the case to mount the radiator. Instead, I'm mounting the radiator on the back of my case, using a 120x38mm fan shell as a standoff. There is sufficient clearance to connect cables to the sound card, and the radiator does not obstruct the power cord socket.

Usually idling around 40-42. At 45 right now (Had a render going overnight). Heavy load (4 cores @ 100%) gets it up to mid-50's.

I have a different mobo, but it is the same size. I saw another Armor case just like that in cable management quality. I would love to do it, but I have no idea where to cut without screwing things up. I want to be able to use the case again in another build in the future. I know you couldn't have cut holes in the places where the ATX standoffs would be. Is there a work log or something that I could see to help me get it that clean. Mine is nice and tidy, though. I used some adhesive vinyl zip tie holders, and zip tied everything to the back. I walso routed the cables along the sides as much as I could. I put the fan power cables behind the motherboard tray. Could we see a pic of the other side with the panel off?

Don't have a work log, but heres some pics to show you some close ups and a pic behind the tray. I will have to modify my cabling when I upgrade later, but not worrying about that until then.

How are your temps? Bet you could do a little better without all those in the way.
My temps aren't too bad. CPU temp is rarely over 42, the two video cards seldom go over 40 degrees. Only high temp i have is the chipset, which is generally around 45. Hard drive temps seldom exceed 30. It's all watercooled, except for the chipset :D

i'm actually more intrigued as to what he has in there that requires *all* those cables etc - it seriously doesnt look like it has that much hardware to warrant all those cables! i mean, come on!
Believe it or not, but every single cable serves a purpose. They all power something somewhere ;)

Yep, ORAC was my inspiration ;)

I removed the screw on that end as it wouldn't even fit with it on, so it is only on with the top hanger. I also added electrician tape to the bottom of the OCZ cooler just in case it does hit something.

Not too bad, but without having much of an opportunity to see inside there it looks like you could do a better job of cable routing. Drill some holes in the MB plate and rout the PSU cables behind, between it and the back of the case.

I will take a look, I think that the other case face is riveted in place and can't be removed. I will take a look.

We had one over at Whirlpool.

And the winning entries (nothing compared to some here at XS)

I came 6th with this http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/3093/2ndinternalpl7.jpg

But there were some really good entries that got missed.

Cable management is matter of part perfectionist, part neat freak, and a matter of how well you can think ahead to see where things get routed when in place.
