im not liking the ocz "gold" or "vista" models of ram either, friend had em and ran like crap then rma-ed for the sli versions.i know for a fact there "lower line" i didnt pull the spreaders but i could tell by running them modestly there not micron d9,s(atleast his were not).i really like ocz products but only go with there sli models(black ones) or the higher rated dimm models knowing im def getting micron d9 ics.i noticed your running ddr3 ram but i think the same rule applies.u pay for what u get.the gold\vista series are cheaper for a reason i now know....

Hello,

What board are you running Phil? Is this the 2GB or 4GB kit?

I'm using them on the asus maximus extreme, and I have 2 2x1gb kits, but even with just one of the kits they act the same. the most I have gotten them to boot to vista is 1200mhz 9-9-9-24-2t @ 1.9v

What FSB are you running?

What other settings in the bios? Do you have the latest bios?
