i didnt know squat about harddrives and bought a Western Digital RE2 drive for my pc. I just wanted the 5 year warranty vs 3 of the SE16. i do not use a RAID array. Ive read that TLER stops the drive from performing error recovery to let a raid controller do the work. Is there a way to turn this off, if so. please advise..
