Maduk and me have tried my chip under his Vapochill.
He said ,the max commando is 628MHz with all 45nm.
It's bad ,go do better together .

- Vapochill
- E8400 Boxed Q750A151
- Asus Commando rev 1.00g
- Vcore 1.45v ( FSB ) 1.62v ( frequency )
- VNB auto
- Vfsb auto
- Vddr 2.950V memory controller need voltage for take +600 :(
- Crucial Ballistix tracer
- 7300SE
- Hiper 580W

We had 25°C in room's temperature. -42°C on the IHS and - 27° in da bios with the stock Vcore.

Pics of install:

First boot with my chips.

Ok let's go for the FSB test.

645MHz (http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=365241)

Good chip :D

And the frequency test.

5496MHz (http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=365242)

We want more but we haven't more time.
Next try under more cooling like DI or LN2.
The benchs are bad ,just 8.8s on 1M .

Thx maduk for your quickly passage @home.

Auto on Commando . 45nm don't like VPll . But the Commando don't give the minimal voltage when it's on Auto.
I've found a good chip for my first E8400

:D No ,you've got good eyes ,the Vcore is true .

That's a super 8400 guys

Thx nachthymnen :)
Yes it's not a bad chip.
Yes ,i think ,it's time to get with more cooling now. :p:
If i can take the same FSB on X 9 ,the Top 5 isn't so far.
