So a friend of my mother's has some computer issues.
The computer is 3 years old, mobo went bad, so that was replaced. Also, she had an old hard drive with pictures set as a storage drive.
The issue is that the computer shuts down every 15 minutes, the mouse goes berserk, and she can't access any files on the storage drive. She said it says there are files on it, but they don't show up.
The shutdown issue sounds like the CPU cooler wasn't seated properly or the PSU is nearing the end of its life.
And the issues with the hard drive could be old files from the other computer such as OS drivers and utilities...
What do you guys think?
