I need some advice as to how to proceed. A few days ago I installed the Vista Service Pack and a new game and things seemed to work fine initially. Yesterday, I ran O&O defrag and then I booted up my rig last night and when I got into Vista a bunch of things such as the wireless adapter, AVG resident shield and certain display features were not working and things were generally running slower.
It initially struck me as a virus-like issue and when I ran an AVG scan it noted that the boot sector had changed (although this could be due to the Vista service pack?). When I changed all of my overclocking options back to automatic to elminate that possiblity the display got all garbled when I booted into Vista. Any suggestions on how to proceed from here guys?
