I want to custom cool my north bridge and PWM mofset area on my Abit IP35 PRO as the heat pipe just seems to travel the heat around.

So I am not botherd about cost but I don't want to watercool as I dont have any more room in my case.

I am after 100% performance! So what do you recommend I buy ??

Here is a pick of my board http://regmedia.co.uk/2007/10/08/ip35_pro_top_500.jpg

I am looking to buy one of these 2 unless any one else recomends anything else.

Any way I am guessing the higher the price the better they will perform

Which would you buy out of these 2 for my north bridge , I plan on putting a fan over this area as well.

There really doesnt seem to be any decent options out there for the mofset cooling so looks like I might go for these and stick a powerfull fan over the top http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=117&products_id=578

thermalright hr-05 IFX series imo for northbridge/southbridge, they also have excellent mosfet coolers

I would consult with Thermalright on which model is best for you. Their website lists a number of boards and what they're compatible with. If yours is not listed, I would send them an e-mail and ask.

And just because I have to - the *best* cooling money can buy without going too far outside the realm of the norm is actually water cooling. If money were truly no object, I suppose you could pay for an LN2 factory to be installed next to your house and pipe product straight to your NB.

While your at it, get me one built next to me too;)

Good choice. I have a Thermalright HR-05SLI (IFX series-even better) on my IP-35 Pro. Had to use the offset type to clear my Noctua heatsink, and previously my TRUE.
The reason Thermalright doesn't list any mosfet sinks for the IP-35 Pro is because they don't make any for it. I e-mailed them about that several months ago asking if they have any plans to sell an IP-35 compatible mosfet heatsink and they replied saying they don't make an IP-35 compatible mosfet sink. Really stupid answer but at least they responded:rolleyes: Not likely they ever will as the Pro is getting old (but still a good board).
If you go to the Intel section of XS Forums, Ace-a-rue has a wonderful Abit IP-35 Pro thread. Note his bolt mod for the nb/sb/mosfet cooling. What I did was to hacksaw the mosfet cooler and sb cooler off (the heatpipe is easy to cut) and use those, bolted to the Pro. Along with the HR-05SLI/80mm fan combo, and 7x120mm fans in my Stacker, my Pro is running cool:cool:

Edit: I see you are posting in the Abit IP-35 Pro thread:up: Those Enzotech MOS-C1 sinks would probably work well with some good airflow. I have used their other sinks on videocard ram and I think they are great. If you want to go for even more cooling, it's possible to squeeze a Thermalright HR-05 (probably SLI) on the southbridge chip, if it clears your video card cooler:cool:
