Thanks guys ;)
We were benching some hours at 3.2volt i think, and at 540-571 3-3-3-9, the best we could do was a 3dm06 at 5350mhz ~563 on the ram, pretty impressive for a E8500 at only 1.70vcore@load, spi 1m at 5421mhz 570.7fsb, 3d01, wprime, think that was all on that system.

Here is a spi ss, windows wasnt setup for spi atall, too bad. Max FSB was limited to 572, so next time we will try on another board..

Good work guys and sweet that Ivan got his e85 tested...

Keep pushing it.

Nanok
05-24-2008, 05:19 AM
Hey 2DIFF the pots are homemade :-)
The E8500 was mine, Ivans E8500 was thawing up on my other Commando.
Ivans E8500 where our first choice, but the Commando we was using for the first run had coldbug on NB, secound run with my E8500 we did not want to risk dice on NB duo to time was running out, and no results to show.
Ivans E8500 has yet to be testet other than on SS.

05-26-2008, 09:35 AM
#38 have a p36 DQ6 comming later this week.
#39 600 was the aim :-)
#40 Im not sure but cloose to-80 i think, maybe i should buy a temp-probe for the ram pot aswell

Hmmm , LH looks good , but LL it's a little bit slow :(

The 01 was a bad run, i just selected all the tests, so std run order. I did get LH a bit over 600fps, cant remember LL, but no time to tweak it all. Guess a tweaked run at that speed would be around 93k.

-It was my first run in 3d01 with ati since my x800xtpe...

That explained everything , maybe you will give one more try . I'm curious what is the difference between 4-4-4 and 3-3-3 at ~ same FSB .

This may be a ignorant inquiry, but what happens to the condensation that forms on the electronics?

Gothic
08-16-2008, 01:32 AM
Really sick clocking there m8!

Will runing your DiMMs at that voltage can cause immediate chip degradation?

I mean... it's almost twice the JEDEC spec! lol

Nanok
08-18-2008, 03:44 PM
Well, two af the kit that i have been "beating" is degraded, one verry bad but they got it for 3-4 hours +3.2V
But you will get higher clock on cold also with same volt as on air.
