There's a problem in the validator's code ( AFAIR ).
Shall be fixed in the near(?) future

Apparently this is on FUGGER's radar (http://67.90.82.13/forums/showpost.php?p=3014494&postcount=5)

Cool! But it is now Wednesday 28th May - I'm sure there are hundreds of people awaiting for validations
If Fugger is busy, can someone else fix it?

Damn its sad that this havent been fixed before the "QF cheat-edition" was developed... (Sorry if Im wrong, word on the street is that its developed within QF program)

Bill... It trobles me that I've just got a new tweak, which should allow around 44500-44900 PP in 1M.... And I just dont know how to prove Im not cheating.... I think I will record a video of OS booting up, SPI 1.5 being transfered from USB to HDD, and then run it, without any cuts in video....
We're having a competition in Denmark... :)

Just run it and post the screenshots. A video really proves nothing as there is no way to know what may be happening behind the scenes while Windows is loading. If your tweaks are that good, as others have found out before you, the whiners will still scream cheat. At the end of the day hwbot or whatever is just icing on the cake. All that really matters is you and those you consider close know what you have accomplished.

Thanks Praz.

I had a 5.2s SuperPi 1m run yesterday with my best QX9650 @ 5.2GHz, but I'm not going to claim the WR before someone comes close to my score with a Nehalem.
Please keep this between you and me

It is sad to see fake Pi versions.....I don't care who made it, sadly there are always going to be cheaters in any area of interest. BUT.....making a new flawless version should be what the original developers should concentrate on, and that is not happening. That makes me even more sad..... The validator is not working for so long with a reason.....and it is not hard to understand why....BUT......when you see that the Checksum is easy to brake....and when fakes are on the loose....something should be done....And unfortunately that hasn't happened in more than a year....That is really wrong... :shakes:
I think that nobody should cry "cheater" until a true way of checking the authenticity of a result is made.

There's no ideal solution.
One good idea would be a new SuperPi version with integrated CPU-z ( to gather CPU, RAM, Frequencies & Timings ), new validation code routine, and having the CPU & RAM frequency & timings as a part of the validation code generation algorithm.
No more downlclocking, etc.

I'd say even more.
The more complex, the better :D
