Hey All,
I bought what I thought was some Patriot D9GKX. I think I was sadly mistaken. I cannot even run DDR2-1000 at Cas 4 with 2.5v. That's just, well, terrible.
How have you all been able to clock ram on this board? I could not hit past DDR2-1100 with any timings, and I tried everything including plenty of voltage. I hope my ram sucks, because I would hate to think that the MSI board is just lousy at clocking ram. I know there were a lot of problems some cheaper P965 boards clocking ram. Has anyone successfully run DDR2-1200 on this board? 3.3v for the ram seems somewhat of a waste if it can't even do DDR2-1100.
I'd love to see others' ram frequency results if anyone has a moment. Thanks SO much.
