Yes, I know, Koolance, but it's pretty. And once I take a buffer to that lettering, who will know? :) btw, it's all nickel plated copper.

To those who have one - Do you notice the temp going up or down much? Think I may have to get one, would be interesting to see just what temp it is if nothing else.

Haha..I'm anal too. They are a nice indication to let you know how your radiator is doing, or for any thermal testing, but that's about it.
I have some custom probes for logging temperatures, in and out of the block, but for general purpose the easiest thing to do is just buy one of those cheap $9 aquarim temperature probes from any aquarium pet stor and drop it in your T-Line or reservoir, compare that with ambient going into your radiator. Then just take it out when your done checking..
Oh come on guys...

It is amazing how fast it reacts when I load up the Q6600. The rad sees the water returning from my CPU.

Really like the look of that Big D  Do you know if it could be attached to one of these http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=392&products_id=22022
Would it just be a case of cutting both tails off and soldering the wires together?
btw its nickel plated brass which is still cool. Cheers dude

I would have to think so. Unless it uses a digital thermal sensor, which for that price, I don't think it does.

Well... Guess it depends, you could put one before, and one after. That way you could see how much heat your rad is dissipating.

I tapped my micro res, and then put the bitspower temp fitting in it (I would link you but I can't since ppc's is the only place that I can find it and I'm not promoting that crook), and then hooked it to a scythe kaze master http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7044/bus-120/Scythe_Kaze_Master_525_4_Channel_Fan_Controller_Te mp_Display_-_Silver_KM01-SL.html.

You only need one temp probe. Before and after the rad has been done many times and the difference is at best 1°C. After this realization, one of the probes is removed.

I think I'm going to get that, mod it (to remove the pot's) and use it for temp and rpm sensor. I'll be using it with a sunbeam rheobus extreme.

You are right. I just received the alphacool and bitspower versions from PPCs and the bitspower is quite a bit shorter and would probably fit inside a Danger Den delrin Tee which the other would not.

use the bitspower or alphacool instead. The other end plugs directly in the controller. :yepp:
However i spliced mine cuz they were prespliced from another job. But the prong should plug directly in.

Yes, it's threaded on the inside. It threads onto one of thier 1/4" compression inserts.

Define monitor..
It will monitor the temp for 6 sensors, and the rpm of 4 items.
To control the pump, you need the poweradjust USB. It will control 1 ddc. To control 2 you need 2. It also has connectors for flow meters. (purchased seperatly)
And if your intrested in 1 of each, let me know.

nah disrupt you had to check out the koolance one.
You didnt need an addon to monitor pumps. Basically it was like a BigNG in 1 unit. You didnt need to get all the options seperately. And had fan controllers. I actually want it. :T

careful there disrupt. The temp probes that goes into the matrix is dallas digital probes. 3 prong ones, not 2 prongs. The 2 prongs wont work for it. Trust me i had to get martin to make me some so i could use the temp probe on the matrix.

The Aquaero can monitor 6 temps. You don't need the poweradjust to monitor the rpm of the ddc, just if you want to control the voltage. But if you have the poweradjust, it will monitor the rpm control the power, and power a flow meter.

I really gotta recommend the 5.25 kaze master, it's awesome and for $40 bucks
It's not overpriced, the 4 temp probes and fan cables are very long too, easy to route
im using the bitpower probe and have 1 stuck on the top of my case for ambient temps
I have 2 left and have no idea what to do with them.. Where else are you guys putting them?

Matrix Orbital has 3.
Im not using the probes on the matrix orbital. That unit requires Dallas Digital Probes.
Martin made me a few, however i just prefer to use my kaze master.
Disrupt if you dont have one yet, get the kaze master. TRUST ME on this bro. You'll thank me for the recomendation.
AS i said its perfect to have it setup like i have. Radiator Ambient Air intakes with Coolant temps.
Those are the most important things you need to monitor.
