new zalman fans on 8800gt

I just checked xfx website and noticed that the new 8800gt cards have a new zalman fan instead of the slot type reference fan. the heatsink is alot smaller. has xfx tested the new fans and are they better at cooling than the old alpha dog ones. my ogiginal fan was pretty good. 45/55 idle/load on most days.

Noticed this earlier today as well. Looks like it should perform pretty well all things considered.

Its the same cooler that can be found on the gigabyte 8800gt's but I love the black on black look ;)

While I do not have the numbers in front of me the Zalman cooler does as you would expect, keep the card cooler then the stock fan. Furthermore the Zalman fan is very quiet as well.
