Maybe add another 1 or 2 washers in there, then it would be more efective

How much space between the fan and bottom? I used 2.25" sockethead screws but I also have 2.5" ones so I have a little room to play with.

Agreed, it needs more room for the air to escape so you will get more cfm.

Excellent! That should help pull a little heat off the pump which means less heat going into the loop too. What fan is that?

Looks anything but ghetto. Good job man. I seriously think there should be some aftermarket heatsinks for sale.

It'd look like a porkypine

I had the heat issue awhile ago. I never was happy with the airflow around the pump so I made a bracket to suspend it. That way it can get airflow around it. You can also put it right over an intake fan like on my cosmos and it keeps it even cooler. You could mount that modded pump right on it to create the airflow you need. The pics make it clearer..

The picture was taken five minutes after I filled the loop so it hadn't worked the bubbles out yet or it's vitamin D whole milk your choice.

You should make it more mainstream and sell them on your site. Make a "kit".
Perhaps offer the possibility of LEDs, too. I'd buy it.

Ordered some LED 60 mm fans and will try it out. Still need to work with DD to fab the LED Acrylic ram coolers as well. And I need to get those UV Florescent lights and mod them to work with ur PSU . . .so much to do.

genius , top it off with some rubber mounts for the feet..

Yeah, rubber feet.
I always wanted a fully acrylic pump. That coupled with a blue LED fan would look nice.

How hot do these pumps get any way? If they get that hot can't you stick a chipset heat sink onto it. Like one of those enzotech ones with the fans attached?

Yeah but the fins of the copper or ali, would increase surface area

Big hungry gerls have more surface area but that does not mean they are preferred . . .
might be worth poping some holes in the motor cover (if you dont mind voiding the warranty lol)
