View Full Version : Temp Sensor readout on Alphacool display

I have one of these displays:

Which has sparse documentation. The thing connects via USB but there are other connectors on the back. Anyone know if you can connect a temp sensor like from a Bitspower sensor to the back?

I have a couple Orbital Typhoons so I could use one of those instead if they would work . ..

i woud like to know his also as i have the same lcd unit and getting the bitspower stop sensor

The analog temps probes the from Bitpower, Alphacool, BigNG etc are all the same type and connector. e.g I know the Bitspower type probe works on my BigNG as well as the Alphacool. There also the same type and connector that come with some MB's. They're all interchangable.

That all being said, from everything I can read on either of the displays you linked, I don't think they have the capacity to read extrernal analog temp probes. So I'd have to say those connections are for something else. If those connectors are for something else, and the circuit is active, you'll short it out by using a analog probe. Be the same as touching a piece of wire across the leads.
