Hi, well as the title suggests I'm going to re-install my OS(because it's kanker >: ()
But, I'm currently 1/2 way through a 6GB file.. and it's taken me 4 days to get this far and i don't want to start it again!

I can move the downloaded stuff(of my file) on to my raid0 back up drive and I've still got the .torrent for it (appliactiondata/utorrent/)

but once i've re-installed my OS and utorrent, is there any chance i can move back the downloaded content and simply add it back to utorrent without having to re-download the WHOLE file again?

Any replied will be <333333333'd

Cheers

nevermind.

http://utorrent.com/guides.php "Migration guide" would cover it.
Remember though you can just http://utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_b … ettings.3F and then restore it on the new OS install. You may need to change drive letters/paths for torrents and data however and as such should check out http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306 and make sure you backed everything up THOROUGHLY before format c:

If you have any partially done file, save the torrent and the file, re-install your operating system, place the file in the new appropriate uTorrent directory, and uTorrent will detect what pieces are completed.

Sorted.

Basically added the folder of the file i had already started downloading back in to the download folder, and then File>Add Torrent
Added the beast, and whoala, checked it and started to download again FROM 56%.

Cheers for that mate.
