Hey guys! I installed my ultra 120 extreme on my e8400. I just want to make sure that my temps are ok. They are about 35-37 celcius idle and up to 50 when Im running orthos. I have not Oced yet because Im still waiting for my memories to arrive.

The reason Im asking is because when I touch the heatsink it doesnt feel hot at all, not even down where its connected with the cpu itself. Surely the heat should spread? :p:

Do I have to worry? Thanks in advance

Those temps are fine.

I dont notice my TUniq 120 getting warm until 55C or 60C.

23C idle? What was your ambient? 22C=~71F, a normal house temperature. No air cooler can sit at or below ambient...

I have it on my phenom 9850 @ 3ghz. 40C idle, 52-53C load depending on how warm the room has gotten. I just found out temps drop alot with this cooler if you have the exhaust fan running... by like 4-5C.
