8800gt sli stock clocks

ok so my old card and cpu wher clocked but come on this is stupid ! wtfs going on i got 14k with one card and OC now stock and 2 crads cost me points !
edit score should be 13726 (woops) basicly i lost about 300 points.

it is imposible to get 1726 points with that settup, not even with one 8800 gt, i mean not even the cpu score by itself :S

wow I read my comment and notice that I was so asleep when I wrote that, lol you probable got to check drivers, because that would be the score of only 1 8800 gt

yep , as i said i managed to OC my way to 14k with one card .
from looking around it looks like having lost my cpu OC its bottlenecking the sli in abig way so hopefully a new bios will let me get back to 4.0ghz

Yup.. you need horsepower to push those cards!

assuming i get back to 4.1ghz (thats where my ram crapped out on my ds4 p965) what you reckon these babies will do (water cooled i had the first card to to 750-1800-990) ?
for now im content with 90+ fps in cod4 with 4xfsaa @ 1920*1200 :)

14k should be easy with 4 Ghz (dual core) and light video card overclock

14k should be easy with 4 Ghz (dual core) and light video card overclockI hit 15k at 4Ghz (dual) with one 8800gt. He should crack 20k since he is in SLI.

Just check the ORB and compare it to similar systems.

His last question asked about SLI (the thread was about SLI scores). I just didnt understand teh relevence of your post within the context of thread...:)

i know , i was just assuming that if 14 k single video card is doable than 18-20k for SLI is the right score

well the sli is on hold till i get a new mobo :(
tried to flash to the latest bios and it forked the bios ! now th ebaord wont boot , wont flash from floppy(tries but dies before dos loads!) so since i got the board cheap of the bay im just going to write that one off as bad luck and get me a 780i like i guess i should have before.
so lookslike a choice of xfx or asus p5n-t.
order one this weekend , plus nice jucy psu and maybe a new case .

well the new bits have arrived , been installed.... let the clocking begin.
not a fully stable at this speed but ive had the cpu back up 4.0 and the cards running lightly clocked ...... 17726 :)
i recon i can crack 18 with some fine tuning and optimise all the cooling etc.
