Okay so my company somehow has this old system we are still using(long story short).
There are many things incompatible with IE7 but overall it functions. However we seem to be getting issues with it handling our microsoft vm. We do not support sun java only the microsoft. Well this seems to be a problem if someone has Sun java installed(which is like anyone who internet browses) and part of our website executing microsoft java don't seem to work.
My question is, how would i go about getting around these internet settings. I have tried disabling everything sun java related, even going in advanced options and unchecking "use sun java... etc" but nothing works.
Also when you try to run our tutorial of the website it pops up the .swf file and has the dialog box for open,save... when it should just be running the file.
IE6 does everything fine and i'm not sure why this is an issue. I was wondering if anyone knows what i should be changing to get this to work. If i can figure it out that would be great then i can have one more way of fixing this stupid system.
If any more information is needed please feel free to let me know. Thanks.
