this temps are too high? (my e4400 cooled with noctua nh-u12f [infact because of the temp are too high, imho, I rotate my cooler from

and the vcore is 1,488)
It's normal?

i recall the guide to o/c involves "not to have ur temp breach the 70 deg celcius limit"
that'll might burn ur processor ... be very careful .......

The temps are high due to the following reasons:
1.The 4xxx series are pretty s**ty compared to the 6xxx series, with higher average leakage current so they will heat more at the same speed&vcore
2. The way you had it first, the HSF was taking hot air from the graphics card which increased the temperature by about 5 degrees Celsius(from my experience)
3. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the 4xxx are not soldered so the die has very poor contact to the IHS, resulting in bad temps even with a good cooler

What he said ^
Also, perhaps consider getting an E8400 for better performance at lower temps.

too hot; if it melts get a penryn:hehe: have you got a tight enuf mount with the heatsink?
my tuniq dont get that hot even with 1.5+V e4300...

but these things have a tjunction of 85C dont they?
 1.4V loaded i get up to 68C with TAT

the screws are hold, in excess I damage the cpu. No? The thermal paste cover uniformally the cpu...

my tjunction is, with Coretemp 0.96, 100°C
