$300 can go a long way, especially if you find something on sale. Nothing less than a 20"-22" widescreen for you. :)

I've looked at a few choices now. There are a couple LG 20-22 inch widescreens with 2 ms response time that look good. THe new samsung t220 is looking good too. Been a slow day at work, so i've been going blind reading monitor reviews.
