i have recently come across some intel chips and they are running on 133 bus speed and are reconized under cpu-z as a d1 stepping. You think they would be worth changing out with my measly 2.26 running at 2.55 ?? they are 2.66 mhz stock and i'm not sure where they are from..

Yep D1's have been comming out, and a high chance of getting a D1 at Fry's. I am sure Newegg rotates stock enough to have the D1's as well.

if they are d1s, they would overclock just as well as for eg, the 2.4C, right?
if im right you could strap it into a canterwood or springdale and let it rip without worrying about the limits of the northbridge right?

200FSB would work in your it7 but you wouldnt be able to OC that much though. I would definatly purchase a "C" model and buy a new MB later on.
