How safe is it to use the registry cleaner in CC? To me it wants to clean some files that I don't know if I need or not. Is it safe to use this?

I don't know about CC because I've never used it.

What is your intention with a registry cleaner? If it's about spyware and such, I've always had a pretty good experience with Spybot. Eusing seems to be pretty good for other needs. I'd say that CC looks like a legitimate program, so it's up to you.

Same been using it for a couple years, most of the registery's are old ones from deleted programs, they always leave behind old registry's.

You can also make a backup of the registry before you delete it to make sure it always asks before you delete
