No your warranty is not void but you will need to put the stock heatsink/fan combination back on before you send it in for RMA.

EVGA will accept the card without a problem, as long as it comes back with the original card bios, heatsink, and a clean removal of voltmods. They even accept cards that people have removed the heatsink to change the thermal paste without problems.

Also make sure the card is registered for the full lifetime warranty or I believe it has a 1 year warranty without it and I hope you are the original buyer.

Wait... does the warranty say it covers modifications such as voltmods? Or is it just like, if they dont know about it....

Broken said that if they were removed, they would accept it

thus meaning that you have to remove the solder points without damaging the PCB, or any pre-existing solder points

my guess is that they wouldn't accept it if they saw them plainly on the PCB, and even so, you probably shouldn't tell them? ;)

EVGA: Whats the problem with our siqqqq video card we made with love and care?

ME: Uhhh.... it dosent work.

EVGA: What were you doing when it stopped working?

ME: Uhhhh, i got this new soldering iorn, 500w model. I wanted to make the world record for the fastest solder vMod install. It was going good until i slipped and ripped off some regs and covered the board with solder. I still plugged it in and it started on fire.

EVGA: UHHHHHHHHHHHH.... we dont cover physical damage

ME: :(

Yes, they are very good with their RMA process just make sure it is free of any after market mods and you will be good to go and waiting for your new card!.

Mine is currently getting RMAd, I changed the BIOS but I'm hoping they won't notice it. Good thing is that I get no image on the screen so it's hard to tell what's wrong

They probably won't take much of a look at it anyways, cheaper for them to just send you a new one. I'm doing it through a computer shop anyways.

Yea, i have to say they have been great, I am just waiting for the specifics, but they said,
No problem mon, just put the old heatsink on
and we'll take care of it...

Sweet Evga...

Hmmm, maybe i should go for the
