Hi,

I have used a few dozen IP35 Pro boards in the past year for PC builds, because they are among the most reliable mobos I have ever seen
And I didn't run into a single issue so far, not one was flawed in any way.

However, with the latest shipment I received (~10 mobos) there is one mobo that no longer features solid state caps only, but is equipped with a mixture of solid states and some standard Sanyo capacitors.

Was this some kind of error or can I expect all IP35 Pro to be a mixture like that in the future?

The mobo was purchased via Wave Computer Germany.

Thank you.

That's odd. You're the second person to ask about that recently. Digging at abit.... ahh, here's the thread (http://stores.ebay.com/PC-MotherBoard-Capacitors-Store_Sanyo-Aluminum-solid-capacitor_W0QQfsubZ147540819QQfrsrcZ1). If these are the caps you're referring to (http://stores.ebay.com/PC-MotherBoard-Capacitors-Store_Sanyo-Aluminum-solid-capacitor_W0QQfsubZ147540819QQfrsrcZ1), fleabay's retailer says they're solid state, they just look like electrolytic.

No, they certainly aren't solid states. Looking a lot like the Sanyos I have on my AN7, actually. I can take a picture tomorrow if you like.

Sure, can't hurt. Very curious. I haven't heard anything about them changing from solid state, but I'm not exactly privy to internal abit info or anything. Would be nice to know in any case.
