for that price is it worth it over the q6600?? thoughts.. it is a oem chip though and free shipping to me??? i mean is that a killer deal or similar to what else can be found?

Since ya mobo is a great one bettter go with an OEM Q6600 and save even more cash, Q6600 is at the Egg in boxed version 220 dollars and 190 OEM...

Unless you can determine if that Q6700 batch is a golden one, I wouldn't go for it...

There are few g0 Q6600 that are poor clockers.

Like leeghoofd said, good motherboard so you wont get a q6700 any higher than a Q6600, and your more likely to get a killer 66 than a killer 67.

You should be able to max out the CPU before your FSB in either case... So why bother with the 10 multi.

okay.. just wanted to see for the extra like 20$ if anyone thought it was worth it. seemed like a killer deal to me but i wasnt sure.

deal is at tiger elctronics. the chip is 259 then is you pay with paypal you save 20$ off that.. making it 239. and i can pick it up so no shipping. i always forget about tiger..
