If that OCZ contest really is for king noob (haven't looked lately, but still hopin' that'll be the case), this post oughta help my chances.
The Koolance HD3870X2 blocks come with optional "connector" nozzles for crossfire setups. I'm sure I've seen those things on non-koolance setups too. But I don't think they're always used.
So what do these things do? I'm thinking they're a connector for the liquid to flow from one card's outlet to the next card's inlet but, alas, my first impressions have really been letting me down lately:confused: so I thought I'd better check.
Thanks

You mean the bridge? Right below my 2 xfire connectors?

there awesome. I like it and highly recomend it.
Those are EK blocks i used on them BTW.
Make sure you get the pci spacing correct tho. They have 1 2 and 3 card spacing options.
What did you want to know about it?

Just wanted to confirm that they're to use instead of the regular tubing for the flow going from card to card. Is that right?
(How do you like the EK's?)

yes they connect from one card to the other. Installation is easy, you treat them as barbs as they have screwin's on each side.
The unit swivles also so if your brave and want to risk snaping your card you can mount instu. However i recomend you pulling the cards out and mounting it that way.
Once the piece is in, the 2 cards become 1, installation is a PITA so take it slowly and make sure you got all cards to snap in.

if you need more help with some koolance fittings let me know.
ROFL im hated because of the wide spread posting on them, but some of them are really good, some shouldnt be touched with a 10 foot pole tho.
You need to know what your buying. You go for function then aesthetics. However if you can get both, why not!

excellent to know, thanks.
Yeah, I've read a lot of slams against Koolance but I get a sense that some of their stuff is indeed pretty good. I'm totally with ya on the why not make it look nice if you can thing.
Cheers
