I didn't even know XSPC made X2 blocks until just now. Couldn't find any reviews via google or forum search, unless I just overlooked 'em? Does anyone have any experience with this xspc waterblock?
Thanks

From martin's reviews the XSPC blocks are very good, on par if not alittle better than EK's, not sure if he's posted anything about the X2 yet though

thanks, pvtdonuts.
yeah, might have to wait just a bit for a review as it looks like these blocks were released just recently

Well, I sure hope the reviews are glowing. Jab-tech has these on sale for $110 and I couldn't resist.
Regular price $191!?

I didn't do any thermal testing on the block, but from what I can tell visually, they have a pretty similar GPU fin density as the EK blocks. Not sure if the wave pattern in the EK blocks is helpful or not though.
EK has always really impressed me with their machining finish, and the XSPC block I have is very similar in quality.
Pressure drop was similar to the 3870 block I tested with a very slight edge to the XSPC block.
I think you'll be happy..:)
One of these days I'll build a die simulator so I can test GPU performance on any block include GPUs I don't have.
Here is that pressure drop test I ran:

THanks for the comments Martin. That's a good write-up on the 3870 block, and I'm thinking these X2 blocks will perform pretty good too.
Cheers
edit: that $191 reg. price is a bit overdone. Performance PC's just got some in and are listing them at $120.

I really like the pricing of the XSPC blocks. I like their all copper design, now all I need is a 9800gtx block from them and I'm sold. I see it's coming out but I need it to hit Jab-Tech.

I'm still looking for a place in the USA that has the XSPC Razor 8800GT block in stock. I was gonna go for a deal on a DangerDen Ione for $77, but for a few duckets more, the XSPC block looks a hell of alot better and looks like it would cool better with the dense channels.
