Building system! lend me your suggestions please!

Ok. Heres what im getting all for 1180.

2.4 Canterwood (Hoping ATLEAST ~3.5 with this)
Mcx4000+t Peltier attached to meanwell s-320-12 w/ tornado fan
Ic7-g
pc4000 GeIL platinum series 512 (2x256)
Radeon 9800 pro @~425/740 w/ zalman hs and fan
2x 120mm blowholes on front and back

Any suggestions to this? How many 3d marks u think i can pull off? Is it a good deal for the price? How is the ram in the system, anything i should know before i buy? thanks for your help.. wes

I would give some second thought to the air cooled pelt setup, for the cost of the Meanwell and the MCX4000 you could set up a pretty decent water cooling system for your cpu. In the long run you would be alot better off. Unless you plan on using your computer as a space heater during the winter months ! hehe

is it not true that the mcx4000+t peltier is colder than water cooling? or is it about the same. cuz i want my p2.4c to run @~3.6,3.7

Well the HS will be hotter than a firecracker !!! It will put enough heat into your case to prevent you from getting a decent OC on your air cooled video card and the chipset. Just my .02c worth. If you go with water cooling set up right now, then you can add a pelt to you cpu later if you want.

btw... im looking for a number, not a chart, but how much would the peltier run at in celsius, and how much would a nice water system run at? like around $220-230

Like I said, start with a water setup for you cpu and go from there. You can build a nice water set up for what your going to spend on the pelt hs and meanwell psu.

Ok, lets say i put about $230 into a water cooling system, could i get my 2.4c up to 3.5,3.6 like i want it? and would that actually cool my vid card with a decent water block more than the hs and the fan?

you could run a MCW50-T pelt on your GPU - $65 (just run off your PSU no need for another ps)
