Article Highlights:
- Still 10k rpm
- 150GB/platter density
- SATA 2 interface (not that it matters, but it will at least stop misinfo)
- Toms received a 300GB drive; no word on larger/smaller versions
- 16MB cache
- Same warranty (5 years)
- Form factor: 2.5" (but not laptop compatible, it's too tall - for the server market, sorry)
- Will come pre-installed into an "IcePack" frame, basically a **** drive cooler that gives it a 3.5" form factor
- Access time (avg): 7ms
- Lowest read value: 65.2MB/s
- Avg write value: 102MB/s
- Highest read value: 124MB/s
- Lowest write value: 77.5MB/s
- Avg write value: 101.6MB/s
- Highest write value: 123.9MB/s
- Comparisons with current popular drives start on page 10

... and:
- Beats the pants off all other non-SCSI/15k rpm drives in all tests, except 1 (a PCMark05 test) - including having the lowest surface temperature.

Looks like I'm going to have to swap out my two 74gb raptors for these new ones!
