I use headphones and every now and then it sounds like i loose a sound channel in my left ear, so the right side is much louder then the left but there is a bit of sound coming from the left.
If i play some bassy mp3 or just a loud song sometimes the sound will pop back in the left channel or it will making popping sounds as if its trying to fight its way into working. Ive had my x-fi for over 3 years now, so im wondering if you guys reckon its hardware based or software based problem.
Also another issue i have is sometimes in the left ear i will hear a low static noise and again can get rid of this issue by playing a loud sound. Quite annoying!
Ive tried different headphones, reseated card, made sure all connections are in properly and im on latest drivers and had problem before and after latest drivers.
Any ideas?
