I'm in a bit of a dilemma, and i'd like your opinions on which you'd prefer if it was your decision. I've been looking for a full tower with a front door, and i've got two choices for comparison.
"RocketFish" Lian-Li Rebadge
vs
PC-A71B Lian-Li
I like the A71B more...but its considerably more expensive. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 more at the very least. The A71B is just nicer imo, and has better air flow out of the box. Idk, any ideas?

Rocketfish. Sure, the PC-A71B is somewhat nicer, but for the price difference it isn't worth it. IMO, the PC-A71B is around 15% nicer than the Rocketfish, but is rather more than 15% more expensive.

I don't have the 'real' Lian-Li but I have a brand new Rocketfish and it is amazing. The best case I've ever owned, and the least I've ever spent on one.

Alrighty, looks like i'll be going with the RocketFish...honestly I just don't think I can justify the cost in my mind. I figure I can always pick up a Scythe Kama Bay if need be. Plus the extra funds will help when paying for paint and other mod accessories.
Can anyone recommend a good sound dampening material? Preferably something that isn't white, because after just a few weeks of use it looks horrid.

I'm about to get some Dynamat myself... the automotive version. I hope it works out well, I don't want to be washing down the inside of my computer for a day or so if it doesn't. I hope it isn't suuuuper sticky...
EDIT after research, NO. It's said to be basically impossible to remove. If I don't mess it up, I'll decide I don't like it. One reviewer basically said that the stuff didn't really help that much, because such products are meant to deal with vibration. Since he had a decent case and no random vibration, the Dynamat did very little.
I'm just going to deal with it.

Ah, yea I think i'll do likewise. Maybe use alittle vibration dampening if I find parts that vibrate too much. I figure if need be I can remove the hard drive and put it in an external enclosure.
I figure fan selection will have more of an impact anyway.

I think the vibration in my Rocketfish comes from the hard drives.

How do you find the cooling in this case? I'm sold on it, but i'm just curious what an owners point of view is. I'd think the front fan doesn't help too much, but the side intake + rear should be sufficient as far as air is concerned.

Well, I switched my side fan to intake, but I don't think it does much. The rear was always exhuast.
In any event, my case side panel has been off for the past couple weeks. Another intake fan in the front certainly would help.
