Looking for a motherboard tray like this ...

Anyone know where I can get one of these from somewhere in the UK??

... however shipping is 45 dollors. Kustom-pcs.co.uk will have them in stock in a months time for less but im too impatient to wait that long! I've even been mailing sellers on ebay asking if they got any damaged cases with motherboard trays that i could buy!

really speaking im looking for aluminium for weight and cutting reasons. the case is a Dell XPS 700 and is already heavy. but i will keep it as an option, thanks

I dunno if Silverstone made their parts available, but you could try looking for a TJ07 motherboard tray also.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply buy or find a cheap case, and take it's tray?
Most case are aluminum nowadays, so it shouldn't be too hard to find what you are looking for.

i've thought of that but butchering a case will be messy and complicate / make it harder for the finishing touches

a motherboard tray will only need some of the top cutting and a few holes drilled so it can be screwed to the chassis. the finishing detail at the back will be much easier and neater with a pre made mobo tray

here in the uk, aluminum cases cost 3 times as much as the tray, anything cheaper and it is steel. i'll consider any aluminium tray, not just lian li's.

i have little faith in postal services lately and shipping from the states is upwards of 60 dollors with tracking.

@ tomn - i did agree to buy the PC60 tray off you and meet up in Swansea to collect, however you never answered my last few emails so i gave up.

today, akasa have agreed to sell me a new eclipse 62 motherboard tray for £30 delivered (60 dollors). only downside is i need to cut the grill out for the fan, an extra finish to touch up! but i've got a promising lead from a lian li wholesaler in the uk who says he has plenty of trays. he has to double check, but he's confident he has one in black with a 120mm fan bay. it now depends on what they come up with as to what and who i will be buying from.
