My second Sapphire 9500

Doing 438/317 after a few juice mod's. 5,832 in 2K3 - front page on the Orb. Took a few dead card's and learning to solder on the pcb level, but it's all worth it now.

VGPU 1.74
VDD 3.14
VREF 1.25
VDDQ 2.48

Many unnamed thanks to all the crazy, fry their hardware explorer's out there, W1zzard, and especially all of the great post's and info I got here, my new home:p

isnt 1.74 basically stock voltage. J/w. also my stock OCin for my np is 438/335. So is that any good because i havent seen very many to compare to. I guess im gunna have to haras M.M. a bit to find out how to get my mem that high lol

how come you dont go any higher with the core voltage? I got my 9500pro core up to 1.80 volts. Are voltages not help past that point?

Yup, that's the wall for me my friend. Remember, this R300 is air cooled, so 438 is pretty smart.

More voltage does nothing for it past 438mhz.....but who complaining?

Btw, for anyone with a 9500 Sapphire, the Vref did nothing for me.

OK, I take it back. Vref did help. I only had to bump it up to 1.345v from 1.255v stock tho. Running half of VDD is a very bad recomendation at least as far as this card is concerned. In fact, anything over 1.5v on Vref totally screw's things over with VDD at 3.265v.

My Infineon 3.3 now running stable @ 330mhz

If anyone here know's exactly what VDDQ does as I have yet to mod it, I would appreciate knowing.

Not dead yet.

GPU 2.15v
VDD 3.24
VREF 1.39

Still curious about VDDQ if anyone knows.

As I understand it, VDDQ raises the current that is available to the memory. It can help for very high memory overclocks.
