Hello, Anyone knows how I can vmod my Pentium M740 1.73Ghz CPU ?

Even if you could it wouldn't be worth it. If this is in a laptop then the cooler would not support the added heat. Not to mention there is no bios support for OCing the CPU. The only reason i can see to OC that COPU is if a game needed the exstra power. But you major limiting facto for playing games on such a laptop is the video card not the CPU.

The pentium m mod is similar to the bsel mod that can be done with any conroe. It's a pin mod that sets the fsb higher and achieves a 15-20% overclock.
Definately worth doing, google "celeron m pin mod" and you should find a good guide. I was going to do it but ended up with a (mobile) core duo laptop so there is no need :)

I guess I shouldn't say that I have a very low hour Asus P4GD1 sitting in the box doing nothing..
That, the adapter and a PM and you have a board with PCI-e for video.:D

lt's crazy that with that board circa 05' and a pentium m/ core duo you can still crush anything that amd is putting out (on single threaded aps). (thats not meant as a troll statement either, who doesn't love amd?)
